CAO Qingyun

Cao Qingyun is a Ph.D. candidate at Peking University. Her major is Philosophy, specializing in ancient Greek thought. She got her Bachelor's degree from Wuhan University and Master's degree from Tsinghua University. She is currently writing her dissertation on Aristotle's metaphysics. She explores Aristotle's concept of matter, especially the relation of matter with substratum and potentiality. As a visiting fellow of the Harvard-Yenching Institute, she will conduct research on this topic during her stay.
