Li Zhen received his Ph.D. (2018) and B.A. (2013) degree in philosophy from Peking University. He is currently an assistant research fellow at Xinya College and the Department of Philosophy in Tsinghua University. His research interest lies mainly in Chinese philosophy and Chinese intellectual history, especially concentrating on thoughts in the era of Song, Yuan and Ming Dynasties (9th – 16th century). His Ph.D. dissertation, entitled 《邵雍哲学思想研究》(A Study on Shao Yong’s Philosophy) was awarded the Excellent Dissertation Award by Peking University in 2018.
