Marxist Philosophy

Qu Hongmei (Ph.D., Jilin University) is currently Associate Professor in the Department of Philosophy, Jilin University. Her research interests include Marxist Philosophy, Kantian Philosophy and Greek Ethics. She was sponsored by China Scholarship Council in the year of 2005-2007, and received her master's degree in Philosophy at Leiden University, the Netherlands. Dr. Qu's dissertation is about Reflections on the History of Interpreting Marx in Moral Philosophy. While staying at the Harvard-Yenching Institute as a Visiting Scholar, she will be working on a project titled 'The Impact of Kantian Cosmopolitanism on Contemporary Political Philosophy'.
