Professor Shiba Yoshinobu and Dr. Makino Motonori of Toyo Bunko visit the Harvard-Yenching Library and Harvard-Yenching Institute

Professor Shiba Yoshinobu (Executive Librarian, Toyo Bunko), and Dr. Makino Motonori (Senior Researcher and Curator of the Museum Department, Toyo Bunko) visited Harvard University in late August 2012. During their visit they met with Harvard-Yenching Librarian James Cheng and Kuniko McVey, Librarian for the Japanese Collection, to discuss collaboration between the two libraries. They also met with Harvard-Yenching Institute Director Elizabeth Perry and Assistant Director Li Ruohong to explore opportunities for future cooperation and training program possibilities.
