Siyu Ma is an Associate Professor of History at Nankai University. He received his Ph.D. in History from Peking University. He has been a visiting scholar at Yale University. His research focuses on modern Chinese political history and digital history. His recent research examines the Nationalist Revolution of the 1920s through emotional, international, and digital perspectives, seeking to understand how the revolution discourse reshaped China’s relations with the world and how digital humanities tools can offer new insights into the nature of the Chinese revolution.
