TAKUMA Yoshiyuki
田熊敬之

Yoshiyuki Takuma is a lecturer at Iwate University in Morioka, Japan. He received his Ph.D. in Asian History from the Graduate School of Humanities and Sociology at the University of Tokyo in 2023. He was a visiting graduate student in the Department of History at Peking University from 2017 to 2019.

His research interests include the history of early medieval China, especially the transformation of kingship and political institutions through interactions between Han Chinese and Inner Asian peoples. His work uses stone inscriptions from the Northern Dynasties, the Sui, and the early Tang periods, together with textual sources.
