Raj Gupta has completed B.A. (Hons) in Chinese & M.A. in Chinese from the Centre for Chinese and South-East Asian Studies, JNU, New Delhi. In 2019, he was selected by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, GOI, for the CSC Scholarship for pursuing a Post Graduate Diploma in Advanced Chinese at Beijing Language & Culture University, Beijing (2019-2020). He was awarded JRF in Chinese by the UGC in 2019. He is currently pursuing his PhD from Jawaharlal Nehru University, and his doctoral thesis focuses on the three Historical Resolutions of the Communist Party of China (CPC). His research interests include Chinese domestic politics and the history of the CPC. He has presented research work at the All India Conference of China Studies and the Nordic Association of China Studies.
