for his book "The Destruction of the Medieval Chinese Aristocracy" (HYI Monograph Series 93)

Nicolas Tackett has been awarded the 2015 James Henry Breasted Prize by the American Historical Association for his book The Destruction of the Medieval Chinese Aristocracy (HYI Monograph Series #93). The Breasted Prize is awarded annually for the best book in English in any field of history prior to CE 1000.

The book is part of the Asia Center Publications Program.
