The Harvard-Yenching Institute congratulates Professor Anna M. Shields for receiving an Honorable Mention for the 2017 Joseph Levenson Pre-1900 Book Prize for her monograph One Who Knows Me: Friendship and Literary Culture in Mid-Tang China. The monograph is published by the Harvard University Asia Center as part of the Harvard-Yenching Institute Monograph Series (#96).
