Former HYI Visiting Scholar Nguyen Kim Son appointed as Minister of Education and Training

The Harvard-Yenching Institute congratulates Dr. Nguyen Kim Son on his appointment as Minister of Education and Training, Vietnam. Dr. Nguyen was a HYI Visiting Scholar at the Harvard-Yenching Institute from 2007-08. While at HYI, his research project was entitled “Vietnamese Confucian Literati in the 15th Century: Their Cultural Characteristics and Tendencies of Thought.”
