Cao Qingyun received her Ph.D. in Philosophy from Peking University, specializing in ancient Greek thought. She got her Bachelor’s degree from Wuhan University and Master’s degree from Tsinghua University. Her dissertation focused on Aristotle’s metaphysics, exploring Aristotle’s concept of matter, especially the relation of matter with substratum and potentiality. She is currently working on a project on Aristotle’s philosophy of mind.
