Chen Xi is currently a Ph. D candidate in the Comparative Literature Program, College of Literature, Wuhan University, China. Her recent academic interests include Chinese poetry, poetics from the perspective of Western philosophy of language, the relationship between memory and literary imagination,  and performance in the literary narrative.
