Ge Yun is currently a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Sociology, National University of Singapore. Her research interests include institutionalization of local knowledge, internationalization of higher education and international student mobilities in Asia. She served as a research assistant in a multinational research project entitled “Globalizing Universities and International Student Mobilities in Asia”, and her Ph.D. thesis looks at how Chinese medicine discipline has been institutionalized in internationalizing universities in China and Hong Kong.
