강우진

He received his B.A. and M.A. in Political Science from Korea University (Korea) and his Ph.D. from Florida State University (USA). He has served as a Visiting Fellow at the East-West Center, University of Hawai‘i, a Fellow at the Academy of Korean Studies, and a Visiting Professor at the University of Oklahoma.

His research interests include democracy, political behavior, authoritarian nostalgia, and democratic backsliding. His recent work explores how democracy can enhance the well-being of ordinary citizens and investigates the political and social implications of Park Chung-hee nostalgia through a multi-level analytical framework.
