Lee Jiyeon

Jiyeon Lee is an M.A. student in the RSEA program at Harvard. She completed her B.A. and M.A degrees at the University of Tokyo, with a focus on the Modern History and Politics of East Asia. Lee brings professional experience as a data analyst and social transformation lead for two consulting giants in Japan. Her research centers on the intricate dynamics of close relationships in Japan and Korea, analyzing how social, economic, and historical contexts, along with technological shifts, shape these relationships. She has a special interest in exploring the intersection of gender, emotion, economy, and community.
