Yung Hian received her B.A. in International Studies with a minor in Korean Studies from Yonsei University. Her research interests include late 19th to 20th century Korean history and Japanese colonialism, especially postwar memory production and interpretation in East Asia. She is also interested in Zainichi Korean identity and politics.
