Song In-Hee is a Ph.D. Candidate in the Department of Art History at Ewha Womans University, South Korea. She recently served as Curator of Ceramics and Craftworks at the Ewha Womans University Museum. Since receiving her M.A. from Ewha Womans University with a thesis on “Korean White Porcelains with Iron-Brown Underglaze from the 17th and 18th centuries,” she has been trying to understand ceramics in social and cultural contexts as well as their stylistic evolution. Her current research interests include the production and consumption of Korean ceramics from the 17th through early 20th centuries in relation with socio-cultural transitions and cultural exchange in East Asia.
