WANG Wei is an associate professor at the Institute of Science, Technology and Society, Tsinghua University in China. He got his bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Tsinghua University and his Ph.D. degree from the Chinese University of Hong Kong. His field of specialty is in the philosophy of science. He has published two books concerning the philosophy of science–Relativism: From a Point of View of Paradigm, Language and Rationality (2003), and Issues in the Philosophy of Science (2004). Published papers include “Scientific Explanation and Historical Interpretation”. His research project at the Harvard-Yenching Institute was “Scientific Explanation and Natural Law”.
