Xie Yifeng

Xie Yifeng is currently a Ph.D. candidate at the National Institute for Advanced Humanistic Studies, Fudan University. Born in Changsha, Hunan Province, he received his B.A. in History (2010) from Sichuan University. In 2012, he obtained his M.A. in Chinese Ancient History from Zhejiang University. The topic of his M.A dissertation was “Fact and Fiction: Daoist Nuns in the Tang Period.” His Ph.D. dissertation will discuss interactions between Daoism and politics in the early Southern Song period.
