Yannan DING (PhD, KU Leuven, 2012) is associate professor of historical geography. He is interested in topics broadly defined as historical geography, history of cartography, and history of geographical thoughts. He serves as an editor of the Journal of Historical Geography, and a member of the steering committee on the history of geography of the International Geographical Union (IGU).
