About the article: “SCO turns a page in literary cooperation” is about the role of translation in improving cultural and international ties among (Shanghai Cooperation Organization) SCO nations. This year SCO is celebrating its 20th anniversary as the ‘SCO Year of Culture’ and India’s decision to translate 10 literary works from its regional languages into SCO’s official languages – Russian and Chinese – is set to add a new chapter of cultural cooperation within the Eurasian bloc.
